The week also gave new light for me in the field of teaching. We were entered into the fourth week of teaching practice.Day by day I adopted new strategies to enhance students critical thinking and enhanced learning process.
14/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the attendance register. Ihad to take remedial class from 9.20 am to 9.45 am and from 1.20 pm to 1.45 pm. I taught the topic "Haemoglobin " for ninth standard students to create an awareness about the role and importance haemoglobin pigment present in our blood and how it help in transportation of gases. My mentor teacher observed the class.
15/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the register. I had to take remedial classes from 9.am to 9.45 am and from 1.20 am to 1.45 pm. I taught the topic "Taxonomical Hierarchy " for the eight standard students. It helps to create an awareness about the hierarchy proposed by Carl Linneaus and it's importance in classification.
16/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the register. I had to take remedial classes from 9.am to 9.45 am and from 1.20 am to 1.45 pm. I taught the topic "Binomial Nomenclature" for eight standard students.The topic helps to identify the scientific name of organism and it's relevance.
17/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the register. I had to take remedial classes from 9.am to 9.45 am and from 1.20 am to 1.45 pm. The day also special for me because my optional teacher Dr.Praveena M came to observe my class and the class held on standard nine. I taught the topic "Respiration in Other Organism". After the class teacher gave feedback to me .
18/10/2024 - I reached the school at 8.45 am and prepared for the remedial classes. I got substitution on standard nine and taught the topic " Respiration in Plants" and the topic aims to create an awareness among students on how plants respire and the parts helps for the process. I got substitution on standard eight and time was utilized for completing their notes. I taught some yoga steps for eight standard students during their HP period
