Internship phase I - 21/10/2024 - 25/10/2024

 We were entered into the fifth week of teaching practice . The experience from day by day improve our teching skill.

21/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00am and signed the register. I had to take remedial class from 9.20 am to 9.45 am and I used various techniques to improve their learning skill. I taught the topic "Anaerobic and Aerobic respiration" on standard nine. The lesson aims to create an understanding about the respiration type on the basis of presence and absence of oxygen. As a part of "World Food Day " our school also conduct a small celebration by exhibiting some food items prepared from their on houses.

22/10/2024 - I reached the school and prepared for my remedial classes. I had class on standard nine and the time was utilized to conduct DIAGNOSTIC TEST to identify the strength and weakness of the concept studied in the previous classes. All the students were attend the test. I taught the topic "Two Kingdom Classification " on eighth standard and it gives a clear about the first classification system proposed by Carl Linneaus.

23/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00am and prepared for the remedial class. I had class on ninth standard and the time was utilized to give remedial teaching as the part of diagnostic test . Most of them have doubts in topic Respiration in Plants . After that I got a substitution on standard nine and I taught the topic " Urea Synthesis ".

24/10/2024 -  I reached the school at 8.50 am and signed the register. I got two periods on ninth standard and one period on eighth standard. I taught the topic " Kidney and Related Parts" and "Internal Structure of Kidney " in ninth standard. These topic generates an idea about the internal structure and related parts associated with kidney. I got a substitution period on class eight and I taught the topic "Five Kingdom Classification" ,the topic gave an idea about the classification of organism on their peculiarities .

25 /10/2024 - The day I had class on ninth standard and I taught the topic "Structure of Nephron " and the topic create an idea about the structural and functional unit of Kidney. I got a substitution period on class nine and the time was utilized for preparing them for NAS exam by revising the model questions. The scout and guide from higher secondary wing organised a program for high school students by conducting various games. It encourages the students and the volunteers gave prizes to the winners.

Internship phase I - 14/10/2024 - 18/10/2024

 The week also gave new light for me in the field of teaching. We were entered into the fourth week of teaching practice.Day by day I adopted  new strategies to enhance students critical thinking and enhanced learning process.

14/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the attendance register. Ihad to take remedial class from 9.20 am to 9.45 am and from 1.20 pm to 1.45 pm. I taught the topic "Haemoglobin " for ninth standard students to create an awareness about the role and importance haemoglobin pigment present in our blood and how it help in transportation of gases. My mentor teacher observed the class.

15/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the register. I had to take remedial classes from 9.am to 9.45 am and from 1.20 am to 1.45 pm. I taught the topic "Taxonomical Hierarchy " for the eight standard students. It helps to create an awareness about the hierarchy proposed by Carl Linneaus and it's importance in classification.

16/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the register. I had to take remedial classes from 9.am to 9.45 am and from 1.20 am to 1.45 pm. I taught the topic "Binomial Nomenclature" for eight standard students.The topic helps to identify the scientific name of organism and it's relevance.

17/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the register. I had to take remedial classes from 9.am to 9.45 am and from 1.20 am to 1.45 pm. The day also special for me because my optional teacher Dr.Praveena M came to observe my class and the class held on standard nine. I taught the topic "Respiration in Other Organism". After the class teacher gave feedback to me .

18/10/2024 -  I reached the school at 8.45 am and prepared for the remedial classes. I got substitution on standard nine and taught the topic " Respiration in Plants" and the topic aims to create an awareness among students on how plants respire and the parts helps for the process. I got substitution on standard eight and time was utilized for completing their notes. I taught some yoga steps for eight standard students during their HP period

Internship phase I - 07/10/2024 - 10/10/2024

 We were entered into third week of internship phase I. My teaching skills improved day by day with feedback from students, teachers and peers.

   07/10/2024 - I reached the school at 8.50 am and signed the attendance register. I had to take remedial class from 9.20am to 9.45 am. I had one period on standard eight and  I taught the topic "scientist and their contributions".This topic helps the students to create an awareness on contribution of scientists in the field of biology and how it helps for the scientific path.

08/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00am and signed the attendance register. After that I prepared for my remedial classes to improve the students learning process . I taught the topic " Scientist and their Contributions ". I got a substitution class on tenth standard. I left the school after signed the register at 4.00 pm.

09/10/2024 - I reached the school and signed the attendance register and prepared for the remedial classes. Today a counseling session was arranged by Teens Club related to the topic "കൗമാര വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം".

10/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the register. I had to take remedial class from 9.20 am to 9.45 am and from 1.20 pm to 1.45 pm. I had class on standard nine about the topic " Cellular Respiration ". The topic aims to aware the students about the types of respiration and energy released in the form of ATP. My mentor teacher observed the class.

Internship Phase I - 30/09/2024 - 04/10/2024

 This week also gave new experiences to us. All the students were gave engaged on the classes. The teachers as well as students gave priority to us. All the day we had to take the remedial classes from 9.20 am to 9.45 am and from 1.20 am to 1.45 pm. 

30/09/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00am and signed the attendance register. I prepared for the remedial classes to help the students in academic improvement. I took a class on standard nine about the topic "Alveolar Exchange of Gases" that explains how the air (oxygen) enter from atmosphere reaches the cell and carbon dioxide is released. Students collect the vegetables crom the vegetable garden and clean school surroundings related to Gandhi Jayanthi. After the class and remedial I left the school at 4.00pm.

01/10/2024 - Due to educational strike in Kottarakara municipality area there was no class. I was utilized the time for preparing my lesson templates. We got duty to prepare chart ,poster for the upcoming school youth festival. We all have done the duties we got and left the school at 4.00 pm.

03/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00am and prepared for the remedial classes . I had class on standard nine and taught the topic "Transportation of Gases" explains how the oxygen and carbon dioxide reaches the cell and alveoli respectively. My mentor teacher observed the class .There was no other classes for me.I got a substitution class on standard 10 and the time utilized for revising the biology lessons. After the classes I left the school at 4.00pm.

04/10/2024 - The day was special because school youth festivel was arranged on 4th october from 10.00am .The programmes named as "ധ്വനി". Kottarakara Municipality Chairman sri S.R Ramesh inaugurated the program. A special program conducted as part of youth festival for honouring the former teachers named "ഗുരുവന്ദനം".After the inaugural session students were engaged in showcased their talents in front of teachers and parents . All the students were actively enjoyed the program.
