National Mathematics Day

 The National Mathematics Day is celebrated every year on December 22 to honour the achievements of great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. He was born on December 22, 1887, in Erode, Tamil Nadu. The Government of India in December 2011 designated the birth anniversary of Mr Ramanujan as National Mathematics Day (NMD).

Physical Science Association

  Today the department of Physical Science conducted the subject association. They named the association MERAKI . They conducted various programmes and games.

Today we the department of Natural Science conducted the association programme. College principal Sri Riju John inaugurated the function. Our class teacher Dr.Praveena M welcomed the audience.

Place of Visit: Ashraya, Kalayapuram

As a part our B. Ed curriculum we visited Ashraya kalayapuram on 8 th december 2023. There were around hundred people are there, mostly old women's are there. We reached there at 9:30 am. We spent there around 3:00 pm and done several cultural program for their entertainment.

It was a memorable day. We were given so many things for the people for their daily uses. They were provided lunch for us. We collected a small amount and given to their fund.

Ashraya and associated institutions all over Kerala are becoming a refuge to the thousands of homeless, abandoned, mentally retarded and deranged, orphans and elderly. The last eighteen years since its inception in 1994 witnessed the humble growth of the institution. Ashraya now has seven rehabilitation units all over the state of Kerala. The major among those is Sanketham at Kalayapuram, Kottarakkara where almost thousands residents are being taken care of by a dedicated team led by Kalayapuram Jose .

Maths Association

 Subject association by mathematics department.

IZIBALO

Today Mathematics department conducted their association called "IZIBALO". Welcome speech was done by our principal, HOD of maths department, HOD of M.Ed. First programme was there HOD Lina teacher's song and after that they distributed panchamittayi to us. They conducted many games to encourage us and also gave surprising gifts as reward. There programme was fun and more innovative than other association programme. They conducted various new programmes like news reading about our college in a fun manner. There teacher also played with them in dance. It was a wonderful programme.
