Internship Phase II - 25/11/2024 - 30/11/2024

As a part of BEd curriculum the first phase internship started today. We got St Gregorios H S, Kottarakkara for the internship.

25/11/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00am and signed the register . I had to took remedial classes for students . I had class on standard 8 and I taught the topic "Food Chain and Food Web" from the unit Diversity for Sustenance. All the students were engaged in the classroom and create a good classroom environment.At 4.00 pm we left the school after signed the register.

26/11/2024 -  I reached the school at 9.00am and signed the register . I had to took remedial classes for students . I had class on standard 8 and I taught the topic "Trophic Level " from the unit Diversity for Sustenance. At 4.00 pm we left the school after signed the attendance register.

27/11/2024 - I reached the school at 8.50am and signed the register . I had to took remedial classes for students . I had class on standard nine and I taught the topic "Menstrual Cycle " from the unit Reproductive Health. This lesson aims to create more awareness about menstruation and remove the misconceptions.

28/11/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00am and signed the register . I had to took remedial classes for students.  There was no class for today because of district level youth festival conducted in our school.

29/11/2024 - 30/11/2024 - Due to the youth festival there was no class and we were engaged in managing the students and participants etc. And it was a good experience.

 

Internship phase I - 18/11/2024 - 20/11/2024

  The first phase internship comes to its end on this week. In this period I got so many experience to improve my skill.

18/11/2024 -  I reached the school at 8.50 am and signed the register.I took the remedial classes for the students. The classes started with morning assembly. I had class on standard nine and taught the topic "structural diversity in framework" and I had a substitution class on standard nine and I took the topic "joints" and it was my last lesson plan.

19/11/2024 -  I reached the school at 8.50 am and signed the register.I took the remedial classes for the students. The classes started with morning prayer. I had class on standard nine and I conduct achievement test from chapter 3 "Respiration and Excretion".

20/11/2024 -I reached the school at 8.50 am and signed the register.I took the remedial classes for the students. The classes started with morning assembly. I had no class for the day and I distribute the mark of achievement test conducted by me and revise the questions for better understanding.

Internship Phase I - 11/11/2024 - 15/11/2024

  11/11/2024 - reached the school at 9.00am and signed the register. I took the remedial classes for the students. The classes started with morning assembly conducted by ninth standard students. I had class on ninth standard and I taught the topic "Muscle Tissue".

12/11/2024 - Reached the school at 9.00am and signed the register. I took the remedial classes for the students. The classes started with morning prayer. I had class on eight standard and I taught the topic " Viruses" and it was an innovative lesson plan. It encourages the student because the topic conveyed through  a story.

13/11/2024 - Reached the school at 9.00am and signed the register. I took the remedial classes for the students. The classes started with morning assembly. I took class on standard nine and taught the topic " involuntary and voluntary movement" based on inductive thinking model.

14/11/2024 - I reached the school at 8.50 am and signed the register.I  took the remedial classes for the students. The classes started with morning prayer. And  I got substitution on class ten. Then I had class on standard nine and taught the topic "Types of Muscle". And it was my observation class done by our general teacher Nisha mam. After the class she gave feedback to me.

15/11/2024 - I reached the school at 8.50 am and signed the register.I took the remedial classes for the students. The classes started with morning prayer. I had class on standard nine and taught the topic " movement of hand " using a working model and it helps the students for better understanding. And I got substitution on class nine and I taught the topic human skeleton system in a 5E model. 

Innovative Work

  As a part of teaching a lesson plan should taught using model of the topic and I selected  the topic " Movement of  Hand " from the unit Behind the Movement of standard 9. 

I make a working model of hand using cardboard, tube, balloon ,chart paper etc. 

The working model helps the students to get a clear idea about the movement of hand and the muscles responsible for this.

Conscientization

The Conscentization programme was conducted on 15 November 2024 at St.Gregorios HS, Kottarakara at Science lab from 2.00pm to 3.00pm .The group included three members.Chinnu S,Chandhana A, Sreejitha P S.By educating students about the importance and benefits of blood and organ donation, we can encourage more individuals to become donors. This can help address the shortage of blood and organs, improve healthcare outcomes, and save countless lives. Moreover, increasing awareness about blood and organ donation can also promote a culture of social responsibility and community engagement.

Internship phase I - 04/11/2024 - 08/11/2024

 The first phase internship enter into sixth week.

04 /11/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00am and signed the register. I took the remedial classes for the students. The classes started with morning assembly conducted by ninth standard students. The prize were distributed by school headmistress related with the Poster Making Competition associated with school based activity. I had two periods on standard nine. And I taught the topic "Excretion in Fish,Frog,Birds and Reptiles " and "Excretion in Plants". These two topic generate an idea about how excretory process done in plants and other organisms. 

05/11/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00am and signed the register. I took the remedial classes from 9.20 am to 9.45 am and from 1.20pm to 1.45pm. Today my optional teacher Dr. Praveena M came for the second optional observation and I taught the topic " Excretion to Maintain Homeostasis" from the unit Respiration and Excretion of standard nine.I used power point, videos for engaging the students. After the class teacher gave feedback.

06/11/2024 -  On wednesday I reached the school at 8.50 am and prepared for the remedial classes. I taught the topic "Six Kingdom Classification" from the unit Why Classification? of standard eight. The topic create an idea about the three domain system and six kingdoms proposed by Carl Woes. I got a substitution period on class nine and ten and I utilized the time for revising their biology topic taught in the previous classes.

07/11/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00am and took the remedial class from 9.20am to 9.50am and from 1.20 pm 1.45pm. I have two periods on standard nine and I taught the topic "Movement in Organisms" and "Movement in Humans". These topics create an awareness about different means of movement in human and other organisms.

Internship phase I - 28/10/2024 - 01/11/2024

 The sixth week of teaching practice starts on 28th october. I had to take remedial classes for the students from 9.20 am to 9.45 am and from 1.20 pm to 1.50 pm.

28/10/2024 -  I taught the topic "Urine Formation " on standard nine and the topic helps to create an idea about how urine is formed and eliminated . I got a substitution period on nine and utilized to taught the topic " Abnormal Components in Urine ".

29/10/2014 - Due to educational strike in kollam district there was no class. I reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the register and prepared lesson templates for the following classes.

30/10/2024 - I reached the school at 9.00am and prepared for the remedial classes.  I taught the topic " Kidney Diseases" and topic aims to aware teh students about the diseases affected kidney and their causes and symptoms. I got a substitution period on class nine and I was utilized the period for taught " Haemodialysis " the technique used to purify blood in kidney related disease patients.

01/11/2024 -  The day started with special assembly related to "കേരളപ്പിറവി". The assembly was conducted by eighth standard students and it includes a pledge related to keralapiravi. I got 2periods on class nine and taught the topic " Kidney Transplantation" and " Excretion in amoeba , earthworm and insects". After lunch there was a rally conducted in school premises and a quiz program. As a part of Bed curriculum we had to conduct a school based activity associated with EDU 11 and we would conducted a poster making competion on the topic " UNITY IN DIVERSITY " .
