Keralaravam 2k23

  Today November 1,Kerala celebrate its 67th birthday. In 1956, November 1 thiru-kochi-malabar region untied into one state named Kerala.

              Keralapiravi was celebrated in our college as കേരളാരവം 2k23. All the  students wear traditional dresses. The college union 'ADHVAYA' organized various programes to made the day wonderful and interesting. The union organized' Malayali Manka' competition and Greeshma from our department won the 3rd prize. Other interesting programs such as 'Chakkikottha Chankaran'.Abhishek and Arya Krishna participated in the programe and it was very interesting. After lunch the students organized variety of cultural programs.All the departments participated and organized wonderful programes.

Halloween Day Celebration

 Halloween or Hallowe'en (less commonly known as Allhalloween) is a celebration observed in many countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Saints' Day. 

Halloween day celebration in colleges offers college students a chance to get creative and let loose, providing some sweet relief from studying.

      As a part of that the association was conducted halloween celebration as an association programme.The function was commenced at 2.30 pm at seminar hall.All the students participated in the programme and it was a competitive one.Everyone was dressed as ghost whose attire frightened us.It was fun and enjoyable day.

on. Students from all department and  all the teachers attend the function.It was very interesting one.

             Sudarshan sir recited his poems for us. All the poems were relevant in today's world.we all listened carefully to him.His words inspired us.

             

     

    After the inaugural ceremony sweets were delivered.

          Association conduct various inter department cultural programmes.Along with academics association provide an opportunity to develop students skills and provide a platform to showcase skills.

Yoga: Valuation

 Today we had our practical for Yoga and it last for 3 hours. All the students attended for the practical. 

      Valuation of Yoga was done by Lal sir by dividing groups and each group done 7 asanas as part of the test. Before that we all were practice the asanas for the test.

Art and Aesthetic Education Workshop

 Today was an interesting day.According to the BEd curriculum we have a practical based on Art Education.

        Today we got an opportunity to participate in the art education class taken by Sri N Gopalakrishnan sir.The class was very interesting and artistic.He taught how to manage waste materials and how it converted into useful products.He made beautiful butterfly,many kind of flowers and different types of birds from waste papers.He taught us to made paper bags,flowers from used disposal glasses etc.He also taught us fabric painting,oil painting.

              Today's class was very interesting and useful to us. Also we made so many items such as paper bag, flowers and birthday card etc...we all are enjoyed the class very well.

YOGA ; Demonstration

  Today in PEd class  Lal Mohan sir teaching Yoga poses and asanas by demonstration. Demonstration was done by the students randomly selected from our class.

   Yoga  is built on three elements named movement ,breathing and meditation. Yoga brings us to calm stage.Yoga helps improve flexibility, strengthening of muscles,balance etc.

School Induction:Reflecton and Review, First Day

 Reflection session was conducted in college by dividing the total schools opted for induction programme into two group. Each group consists of about 16 schools. I am in the second group.In first day we heard the reflection and review of eight schools. It includes:

End of School Induction

  The six day school induction programme end today. The six days gave a new experience to us as a teacher. 

    Today we reached the school at 9:15. Today there was assembly conducted by 10B and it was so special to us because today was our last day in the school.The whole assembly was in Hindi language.part of the subdistrict science fair the IT Club conducted an IT Quiz .Remya from standard 9 got first prize and eligible to participate in subdistrict level IT Quiz. After lunch there was a practice session for School Arts Day .

         The last day we get feedbacks, gifts from students and we were so happy to see their good responses.And also the teachers and non-teaching staff gave a good sent off.

School Induction : 5th day

Today we reached 9.30 at school.After morning prayer we were interact with our subject teacher.Teacher told about new learning strategies ,her valuation method ,and how to interact with a student and teachers experience. Teachers words were helpful to us for our teaching profession. And we were interacted students according to student interaction session. This session help us to understand the students, their abilities, problems etc.

          We taught 8th,9th and 10th.The students response to our questions.

School Induction: 4th day

  Today we reached 9:20 at the school.Its a special day to us because we got an opportunity to attend the assembly and its a special assembly.The assembly was conducted by 10A class.It includes prayer,pledge,news reading,thought of the day. Assembly was ended by the headmistress speech regarding the monthly test and other information that necessery for the students. In the assembly the students ,teachers and non teaching staffs appreciate the students who participated in the sub district sports.

                Today also we taught class 8th,9th and 10th.In class 10 we arranged a quiz section to engaging the students.They all participated in the quiz and we gave a small gift to the student who won the quiz section.

School Induction: 3rd day

  Third day of school induction we reached 9:30 at school.some of the students went to participate subdistrict sports.Today the teachers, non-teaching staff and students clean the school surroundings related to Gandhi Jayanti and they arrange food (tapioca and coffee) for all.And it was also a new experience to us.

      Today also we taught class 8 and class 9. Each of us got 4 periods .
